This prestigious string quintet, which has been a benchmark on the international chamber music scene for years, is presented. Its founders, violinist Romano Tommasini and violist Wolfgang Talirz, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker since the final years of Karajan’s tenure, along with Luiz Felipe Coelho, first violin of the orchestra, and Gunars Upatnieks, first double bassist, join Russian cellist Tatjana Vassiljeva, first cello of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, maintaining the spirit that led them to create this prestigious ensemble.

Its first concert was in February 2007 in Belgium. With great success! Within a short period of time, it advanced to a sought-after ensemble that now plays countless acclaimed concerts throughout Europe and tours Asia annually. Since 2018, he has been working with Valencian Miguel Ángel Tamarit, one of Spain’s most distinguished clarinetists, thanks to his extensive experience and internationally recognized prestige.

“Truly extraordinary (…) as full as a string orchestra, as delicate as a string trio.”
